Privacy Policy

Solomon Private Asset and Equity (Pty) Ltd operates this website. This policy covers this site only. It does not cover any dealing you may have with one of the group's entities, each of which handles information under the law of its own jurisdiction.

What this site collects

One thing: what you type into the form on the contact page.

That is your name, your email address, an optional subject, and your message. It is sent to the group's intake mailbox so that someone can reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not sold or shared for anyone else's purposes.

What this site does not collect

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking of any kind. It stores nothing in your browser. There are no accounts, no logins, and no passwords. It takes no payment details.

You can read every page here without giving us anything at all.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers record ordinary request information — IP address, page requested, time, browser type — as any web server does. Those logs exist to keep the service running and secure, and they expire on the host's own schedule. We do not combine them with anything else or use them to build a profile.

Who else handles your message

Three providers, each doing one job:

• Vercel hosts the site and runs the code that receives the form.
• Resend delivers the resulting email.
• Microsoft hosts the mailbox that receives it.

Your message passes through those services in order to reach us. Each processes it on our instructions and for no other purpose.

Where your information goes

The group operates across South Africa, the United States, Tanzania and Kenya, and the providers above run infrastructure internationally. A message sent through this site may therefore be processed outside the country you sent it from.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to the matter you wrote about, and then deleted. If you would rather we deleted yours sooner, ask.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), and under the General Data Protection Regulation where it applies to you, you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to our holding it. Write to us and we will act on it.

You may also complain to a regulator — in South Africa, the Information Regulator.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and their advisers, not at children, and nothing here is directed at them. We do not knowingly collect information from a child. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will say what changed.
