John Solomon co-founded Interactive Investment Group with Tara Solomon in 1995, the business boutique the group traces its origin to. IIG worked in lead acquisition for contracted telecommunication partners, running event-based campaigns in Atlanta, Daytona Beach, New York City and elsewhere, and extending into radio PR and print.

The firm he co-founded followed its partners online through the dot-com era, stayed privately held through the 2001 collapse, and reconstituted as an International Business Corporation. Its aggregation work moved toward investing relations through the 2000s, and in 2007 operations relocated to Durban, South Africa.
